Life has been pretty hectic since then. Though I still take comfort in reading and outings with the good friends I have made here. I spent my first year at Emerson College deciding what I was going to study, going back and forth, unable to settle. Commitment issues perhaps, who knows. I finally decided on a double major in Writing, Literature & Publishing, and Marketing Communications. And I love both.
My first year I lived on campus. It was an experience I definitely didn't want to miss, but I am happy to have a place to call 'home' for the next three years. I am now living in the North End of Boston, the small Italian neighborhood by the river. Everything around here is very inviting. Hanover Street is always crowded, people wanting to get cannolis from Mike's Pastry Shop, cupcakes from Lulu's Bake Shoppe, or sit down for a glorious dinner in one of the numerous Italian restaurants that border the bustling streets. You get to know the merchants after awhile, becoming part of this small community that takes you in with open arms.
I'll be writing on here as often as I can, since I have some free time on my hands.
I'll post just about anything that inspires me. Stay tuned!
